I recently did some layout and print design work for Ushahidi, a non-profit that creates some really interesting mapping software focused on crisis-mapping and social interaction. They came to me with a number of existing existing documents that were all over the map (no pun intended) design-wise, and asked me to join them all up with a unifying look. The folks at Ushahidi use slideshare to share their various documents and presentations, and slideshare has decided it’s good enough to feature on their site (at least for the next few hours).
And just in case you missed it and are reading this later, here’s a screengrab.
My work for Ushahidi featured on slideshare’s main page.
Recently I’ve been doing some freelance work for McLaren/Edge Productions, which is the in-house post studio at McLaren-McCann Toronto. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a couple cool projects there, including online promotional videos for HP Canada and the Canada’s Next Top Ad Executive competition. The HP one was pretty wild because the whole thing was put together in about 9 hours. The creative team at McLaren brought a bunch of artwork to the table, and we all worked together to meet the 1-day turnaround that was required! Check out both videos below:
